Blood Bowl was quite possibly the greatest board game ever made.
Not holding back any punches here... You name another board game and place Blood bowl next to it.
Blood Bowl will grab a sack full of doorknobs and proceed to beat your selection of board game into a 2 dimensional object.
If you don't know what Blood Bowl is, there follow this www.games-workshop.com/gws/con… and have a quick run down of what it's all about.
Needless to say when they made a video game of it I was of 2 minds... it would either be fantastic or a steaming pile of something best left unmentioned.
Luckily for us it was door number 1. Mostly because the game can be played exactly as the board game is played... TURN BASED!
In many ways the video game has taught me a few things about the board game and how it is supposed to play.
Mostly through interpretations of how you can read certain passages in the original rule book.
Anyway, what I really need to express to anyone who reads this drivel that I write from time to time is that I really like Blood Bowl, and I am trying to convince some more people that shelling out some hard earned cash to purchase the game would be a good idea.
Most notably I am setting up a private, invitation only internet league for my friends so we can all play together and have some (Violent animated) fun without the usual internet moron population that seems to go with online gaming.
I promise I have vetted everyone who I invite into the league, so if anyone acts like an ass I can personally deal with the issue via a cast iron frying pan!
Sooooooo if I have managed to convince you that playing with me on the internet is a good idea (And yes, I am aware of exactly how dirty that sounds) then jump on steam (store.steampowered.com/)and purchase/download Blood Bowl! (click on the install steam link at the top right.)
Then let me know you've done it so I can dish out all the necessary passwords to get into the private leagues.

You'll have to try harder than that!
It's been a long time...
I got lazy and have not uploaded any images in ages.
Still been here but watching instead of participating. Sometimes it's nice to sit back and enjoy the ride...
Currently doing a big upload of all the stuff I've finished since my last commission.
Also working on a new painting style for the Legion of Everblight army that I am planning on playing for the 2013 tournament season.
Games Workshop Presents: Douchebaggery 101.
Games Workshop has dropped a bomb.
The bomb in question isn't anything awesome like a Deathstrike Missile or Cyclonic Exterminatus warhead, but rather the new 'terms of service' for it's resellers in the UK.
Most notable victims of this particular bomb are Wayland Games and Maelstrom Games both are massive online stores that serve a huge portion of the globe.
They have managed to get so many loyal customers by supplying the goods we want and supplying them at reasonable prices.
As a comparison, I scored a Space Marine Attack Bike via Wayland games for £12.40 which translates to NZ$25.89

Police Schenanegins...
Seems the fuzz here in NZ are now getting away with murder. Literally! http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10723708
To break it down:
Cop leaves a party in a patrol car (WTF the 1st) while leaving people see him using his cell phone while driving. (Illegal in NZ)
Short time later the cop receives a text message, 23 seconds later he hits & kills a 16 year old pedestrian and injures his brother.
The Officer in question faces no charges whatsoever and is still on the force.
Worst of all, this is just the latest in a long line of Police related incidents.

Astrology: Fun and stupidity.
So... Hands up who saw this little gem?
To summarise, someone ran a news article without doing their homework...
They claimed that due to changes in how Earth revolves around the sun there was now a 13th star sign to be added and dates of existing star signs will shift.
Mass panic ensued throughout various social networking systems and the true scope of our species stupidity showed it's face once more.
No one who reads/watches the news seems to have clicked that 'Journalistic Integrity' doesn't really exist any more and you need to check the sources of EVERY bit of information you're given to screen it's accuracy. You know... to avoid loo

Would I be right in assuming you have it on PC then? If it was x-box i'd be inclined to ask for an invitation. Played a few single player matches but never really (I'm ashamed with myself) got hooked on it. Will definately be giving it another shot sometime tho.
